TLDR;
Adobe has expanded CX Enterprise Coworker into ChatGPT, Claude, Databricks Genie, Gemini for business and Microsoft Copilot, while adding MCP connectors for marketing and data tools. This is a multi-platform expansion, not a brand-new product or a single uniform autonomous workflow. Enterprise teams gain easier access to Adobe marketing intelligence, but still need to govern permissions, AI-credit use and the different action limits of each surface.
What happened
Adobe announced the multi-platform expansion on 4 November 2026. CX Enterprise Coworker is now available in ChatGPT, Claude, Databricks Genie, Gemini for business and Microsoft Copilot. Adobe said Amazon Quick, IBM and Snowflake support would follow, so those three should be treated as roadmap items rather than current availability.
The same announcement introduced pre-built MCP connectors for systems including Amazon Ads, Demandbase, an ads server for Meta campaigns, Microsoft Work IQ, RainFocus and Snowflake Cortex AI. Adobe says Coworker can combine campaign, audience, content and journey context, then coordinate work across Adobe and partner systems with human oversight.
Not every integration is new. Adobe launched the ChatGPT plugin on 29 September and had previously described access through Claude and Microsoft Copilot. The material November change is the wider supported-platform set, including Gemini for business and Databricks Genie, plus packaged connectors intended to reduce custom integration work. Microsoft Marketplace separately lists Coworker as an Adobe app for marketing insights and task execution.
Why it matters
The strategic shift is that Adobe's customer and campaign context can travel into the AI assistant an employee already uses. A marketer could ask for audience growth, journey drop-offs or campaign performance inside ChatGPT or Copilot instead of opening several Adobe interfaces. That reduces interface friction, but it also moves a sensitive decision surface outside the core Adobe application.
The controls are more important than the conversational front end. Adobe's setup documentation says the integration inherits the user's Adobe identity permissions and requires Adobe Experience Platform plus at least one of Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer or Customer Journey Analytics. Organization administrators must approve access in each AI platform, and use draws from the same Adobe AI-credit pool rather than a separate free allowance.
There is also an important capability boundary. Adobe's documentation says Coworker in third-party AI platforms currently returns read-only insights and does not modify customer data, even though the broader announcement describes connectors that can take action across partner systems. Brands should verify which tool performs each action, where approval occurs and which audit log records it rather than interpreting the launch as unrestricted autonomous marketing.
How your brand can benefit / be affected
Start with one bounded analytical workflow, such as explaining a campaign performance change or identifying journey drop-offs. Map the Adobe datasets, fields and entitlements the user can access, then test whether the same question produces consistent evidence in the native Adobe interface and the connected assistant. Do not expose broader customer data merely to make the prompt more convenient.
Create a separate approval and risk profile for every surface. Record which administrator approved the plugin or connector, which users received it, what information can leave Adobe, how prompts and responses are retained, and whether the platform can call action-taking tools. Microsoft, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Databricks have different identity, logging and data-governance models, so one vendor review cannot safely cover all five.
Measure the operating cost as well as time saved. Track AI-credit consumption, queries that require manual verification, failed permission checks and any handoff into an action-capable connector. Keep high-impact changes such as audience activation, campaign edits and journey publishing behind explicit human approval until the audit trail is complete. The useful enterprise outcome is governed access to shared marketing context, not the largest possible number of connected assistants.
